The Art Appreciation group meets monthly on a Wednesday at Melbourne Assembly Rooms. 13:30 - 15:00.

Topics for discussion have included the 'isms' from Realism to Conceptualism, women artists, American photography, the Pre-Raphaelites, Joseph Wright, Marcel Duchamp and conceptual art, plus much more.

We are currently exploring UK artists and Art Schools. Anyone can volunteer to give a talk; we have had some lively discussions!

There have also been occasional trips to art galleries, including Cambridge, Nottingham Contemporary, Leicester Museum and Art Gallery and the Barber Institute.
