How u3a membership works
Membership: When you join MADu3a you will be able to sign up for groups and attend monthly members' meetings and events.
Join a group: either contact the Group Leader by clicking the link on the relevant group web page or email the groups coordinator.
Turn up at a monthly meeting, usually held on the first Thursday of the month at Melbourne Assembly Rooms, when you can speak to committee members, group leaders. and group members.

Click Calendar to see the most accurate group meeting information from Beacon.
Click Events for up-to-date information on events open to all members and guests.

Member Information: All member information is securely stored on the National U3A System called "Beacon".
Beacon access: click Member Portal to take you to Beacon. From there you can update your personal information, join groups, and contact group leaders.
Beacon first Log-in: At the member portal, first register for an account. Follow the simple process and set your password.
Beacon login after password set: All future log in attempts will only require your email and password.. Should you experience any difficulties logging in please contact the Data Coordinator data.
Membership Renewal 2026:
From April 1st each year, members can now renew their membership on-line.
Renewal On-Line:
By renewing on-line members are confirming acceptance of all previous data protection / sharing conditions to which they have given consent.
Conventional Renewal:
For members who wish to renew as they have in previous years, by bank transfer, cheque or cash, renewal forms are available here.
