There are two Poetry Appreciation groups, each meet monthly in members' homes.

Members present a poet of their choice, such as Simon Armitage or W.B. Yeats or we bring a poem related to a theme, for example, a seasonal poem or one of hope or friendship.

We discuss poetic form as well as meaning and there will be opportunities to have a go at writing a short poem for ourselves.
